Stodart’s Rare Old Highland Scotch Whisky.
While the front of the box for this mini looks
like the Canadian Club Whisky, the back of
the box has a very colorful Green, Blue, Red,
Yellow, & Black plaid.

About 30 years ago a neighbor at the time
was cleaning out her Mother’s house in
Chicago and came across these bottles
wrapped in a cloth and stuck in the back of a
drawer. She showed them to me but never
wanted to part with them. To my surprise and
delight, she gave them to me 14 years ago
when we moved into our new house.
Needless to say, they now demand the best
display space in my bottle room, and they
have become a major topic of discussion
whenever collectors and
non collectors drop
by for a visit.

I sincerely hope that you enjoyed this brief
visit into the past.

ANGLO-SWISS CLOWN

In issue 80 we brought you an article on clowns and in 84 we brought
you an article on Anglo-Swiss bottles. Neither showed the bottle on the
left, the Anglo-Swiss Clown. My thanks to David Spaid for sending me
the photo of this great bottle.
